Light Rail Vehicle-Road Coordination and Image Recognition Application- css-text01
Establish an intersection anti-collision warning system and SpaT energy-saving driving system. The system area will mainly be based on the intersections along the light rail line to improve the safety of light rail intersections and the efficiency of light rail operation. The Internet of Vehicles technology will be applied to the light rail system, in order to assist light rail drivers by giving out alerts when there are sudden vehicle intrusions at an intersection when passing through intersections with complex traffic conditions. In addition, an image recognition system will also be built to collect intersection traffic and detect rule-breaking vehicles automatically. This project has been awarded the 2021 Smart City Innovation Application Award.

Kaohsiung Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) Project- css-text01
In order to solve the problems of road congestion, air pollution, and traffic accidents, the Institute of Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications and the Transportation Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government cooperated to implement Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) by integrating multiple transportation tools, combined with discount tickets, and mobile phone app service as a joint transportation mobility service with Kaohsiung as the first demonstration area in Taiwan.
